thumb-finebrothers.jpgYou can do an awful lot with action figures - make movies, for one. And we've all seen loads of those. With action figures you can also create some pretty snazzy mashups such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Barbie and Ken or GI Joe Fights with Batman or the X-Files Team comes upon the Land of the Dinosaurs. You name it, someone has probably thought it up already. And now, with new action figures from the TV show "LOST" we've got this mashup... it wouldn't be on Potter Parodies if it didn't involve our Hogwarts gang...

Brought to you by "RavenStake.com," comedians Benny and Raffi Fine know how to have fun with their, uh, toys. They state in their bio they're a couple of nice, Jewish boys, formerly Orthodox who have found their God in the form of comedy. Don't they look like angels?

Stuff to go buy

Dogwarts U

thumb-dogwarts.jpgI just love this stuff - Dog Warts U features Hairy Pawter, the lovable labrador who attends doggy school Dogwarts. Buy a t-shirt for yourself or for your dog. This Cafe Press shop features Graphics by M&M designs on coasters, mugs, magnets, messenger bags and other stuff besides t-shirts. (clicky here for the shop). Tell them PotterParodies.com sent you - maybe I'll get a free t-shirt.

I know there was a separate site for Hairy Pawter and the Sorcerer's Bone, but I can't find it. If anyone has a link... please send it on or put it in the comments section.

Two Little Dogs

thumb-bandanamodel.jpgIs this not the cutest thing ever? Well... maybe not ever, but still. It's just so durned cute - and perfect for holiday card giving. This is the product of Two Little Dogs greeting cards. In honor of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Two Little Dogs are featuring their "homage line: Dogwarts products for the Hairy Pawter fan." How could you resist? Actually, you probably can't even see the image because of the thumbnail so click the "Read More" link below to see a bigger image of this card and another. It is, however, watermarked. To purchase the cards clicky here.

"Rage Against the Mundane"
thumb-goldmark.jpg"Rage Against the Mundane" was released in 2001 in case you haven't heard about it. The CD was recorded by Chicago college student Tony Goldmark (who is probably way out of college now and paying off student debt like the rest of us unless he sold enough CDs...). He was a fav on the Dr. Demento Show, a nationally syndicated comedy music radio program. Goldmark has also performed at AlCon Conventions ("Weird Al" Yankovic fan cons) and got himself involved with a coached ensemble at Chicago's Second City world-famous comedy shop. (He did another CD that's not Potter related entitled "Masterpiece Weirder.").
