It has certainly been a busy day in Potter news that might or might not be true!

The Sun has been hard at work reporting - or creating - news about our Potter stars!  First up is "Harry Puffer" - apparently Dan Radcliffe smokes a pack of cigarettes a day, and that as soon as the Harry Potter director yells CUT! he reaches for a cig.  Word is that he was so nervous filming his stunt of being yanked from a fiery building when his double didn't show up that he was puffing away to calm his distraught nerves. 

Now, I'm not 100% certain this is believable for a few reasons.  Our ever reliable source The Sun says that Dan's been having late nights with Stephen Fry and Kevin Spacey - haven't they both recently quit smoking?  And how on earth is Dan able to have late nights with anyone when he has to be up for work early in the morning?  Not to mention, if I were an 18-year-old boy and could spend late nights with someone, I would NOT choose either of those two as my companions.  A hot chick would be more my preference.  But then again, that's just me, Dan might very well love hanging out with Fry and Spacey any chance he gets...

Although is it just me, or is that Sun article trying to imply that Dan's gay?  There were an awful lot of innuendos in their usage of the term "fag"...

Also, doesn't it seem like The Sun is using this article to prove the other article that came out a few days ago about the cursed set of Half-Blood Prince and that one of the misfortunes the cast and crew of the set have had to face was Dan's double not showing up for work, leaving him with no choice but to perform his own deadly and daring stunt...which of course was an article originally written by...you guessed it...The Sun!

And let's not forget that The Sun is still insisting on calling the sixth Harry potter film the "final" film and referencing it as Deathly Hallows, adding of course more reliability to its already untarnished reputation as being the #1 source for factual information.

But of course there is this picture of Dan puffing away to go with this story, so maybe it is believable after all?  Oh hang on, never mind.  The accompanying photo - and ONLY photo, might I dare add - of Dan puffing is from his performance in Equus in which he played the character of Alan Strang, who smokes!  Yep, it's a picture from the actual play itself and not even from in between scenes or a break or anything...hmm...

As you know, I used to be a believer, but like I said I really don't know what to believe anymore...

I don't think I believe it. It seems like The Sun up to its usual nonsense of fake reporting and creating stories when there isn't any real news just so they can sell some papers.
