"Rage Against the Mundane" was released in 2001 in case you haven't heard about it. The CD was recorded by Chicago college student Tony Goldmark (who is probably way out of college now and paying off student debt like the rest of us unless he sold enough CDs...). He was a fav on the Dr. Demento Show, a nationally syndicated comedy music radio program. Goldmark has also performed at AlCon Conventions ("Weird Al" Yankovic fan cons) and got himself involved with a coached ensemble at Chicago's Second City world-famous comedy shop. (He did another CD that's not Potter related entitled "Masterpiece Weirder.").
On this particular CD, "Rage Against the Mundane," Goldmark sings songs about the Harry Potter world including "The Sorcerer's Stone," "Sirius Black" and the cover song - "Rage Against the Mundane" (cover art by the Great Luke Ski). While there are only a couple of Potter tunes here, you'll laugh your tuchas off at the rest. Also, you can read a 2004 interview with Tony at Hpana - clicky here for that.
